Move data work from fragile runs to trusted products.
Alloy is the control plane for modern data teams. Connect your sources, run governed pipelines, publish to your lake, and keep the evidence, all from one surface. Hosted on Azure in Australia.
One control plane, not five vendors.
A modern data team's work is scattered: connections in one tool, transformations in another, schedules and retries in a third, and the audit trail in screenshots. Alloy collapses that into one operational surface. Configure once, govern every run, keep the evidence ready for review.
Pipeline orchestration
Connections, datasets, sinks and ordered pipelines from one place. Manual runs and schedules share the same governed path.
Governance by design
One active policy per tenant. Sink and connector allow-lists, default landing target, and override controls that the runner enforces.
Operational observability
Mission Control for tenant health, Run History for every run with live logs, Run Schedules for schedules, Alerts for triage.
AI-assisted stewardship
Alloy generates recommendations for column descriptions, glossary terms and relationships, with confidence and severity, for a human to review.
How it works
Connect, land, shape, deliver, watch. The same path for every run.
Connect
Choose a connector, complete the setup, and Alloy runs a live connectivity probe. Credentials are stored in your tenant Key Vault. Alloy keeps only the reference.
Land
Group source objects into ordered pipelines and run them on a schedule or on demand. Every run is checked against your policy, then lands in your governed lake with rows, bytes, duration and cost recorded.
Shape
Write SQL models over the landed data. Alloy validates and previews them, you publish, and they build with the pipeline.
Deliver
Push results back into SQL Server, and fire a webhook when the data lands so the next system knows it's ready.
Watch
Run History for every run, Mission Control for tenant health, Alerts for triage, and Cost Intelligence for your real Azure bill, resource by resource.
New tenants start in Guided Setup, which walks this same path with you, step by step.
See it in action
Built for the people who run it.
Mission Control
Tenant health, runtime plane, queue posture, lake storage and cost tiering on one page.
Run History
Every run searchable by time, status, trigger and scope, with throughput charts and live runner logs.
Run Schedules
Schedules with approved windows and run days. Pause, resume and run now without touching cron.
Alerts
Failures, governance blockers and runtime warnings with severity, impact and the actual error message.
Policy
The active policy, allow-lists, default sink and policy impact, visible to everyone who needs it.
Models
SQL models over your landed data, validated, previewed and published, then built with the pipeline.
Connect what you run. We build what you don't.
Databases, business systems, marketing platforms and collaboration tools, all on one profile contract for credentials, discovery and connectivity testing. If your source is not here yet, we build the connector during onboarding, to the same contract, in your tenant Key Vault.

Every custom connector is built to the same profile contract, tested against your live source, and governed like every other source in your tenant. Tell us what you run and we will scope it with you.

Works alongside your Microsoft stack.
Alloy runs on Azure and lands data in your own Azure Data Lake. It complements Fabric, Synapse and Power BI rather than replacing them, and Power BI can read your published models through Synapse.
Commercial-grade by default.
Credentials are stored in your own Key Vault. Alloy keeps only the reference. Runs are dispatched through a tenant-scoped queue and executed by a tenant-scoped runner.
Your data is extracted and stored in your own Azure. Alloy keeps the run history and a small, capped set of profiling samples so your stewards can review quality.
Built and run by Building 8.
Alloy is built by Building 8, a data consultancy. Our team sets up every tenant, runs onboarding and supports you after go-live.

- Where does my data live?
- In your own Azure. Alloy runs customer-owned execution and a customer-owned lake, with a disclosed hosted control and catalogue layer. That layer keeps run history and a small, capped set of profiling samples so your stewards can review quality.
- Where are my credentials?
- In your own Key Vault. Alloy keeps only the reference.
- Which connectors work today?
- SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Excel, HubSpot, Salesforce and Google Ad Manager. The others are in preview, and we confirm yours during onboarding. If yours isn't listed, we build it.
- How does onboarding work?
- Building 8 sets up your tenant with you. Then Guided Setup walks your team through connect, land, shape and deliver, step by step.
